BOO! Free Halloween pennant printable.
Although I try to make most of my DIY’s and crafts very simple and easy; even simple and easy crafts can quickly turn into a huge headache. I love making pennants for every occasion. I love the simplicity of them, the old school collegiate feel, and they’ve also become super popular in the past few years. Although I try to show y’all some of the hiccups that come with crafting, I don’t show y’all just HOW MANY hiccups I go through for all of my crafts.
For the purpose of transparency I’ve made a video showing all that went wrong in making a cute little Halloween pennant. You can watch it here! And, I’ve also saved you the trouble of having to do all that work yourself. Scroll down to the bottom of this post for a cute and free Halloween pennant printable. Follow these instructions to make your own:
- Print out my free PDF download (white cardstock would work best)
- Cut out the pennant along the black outline
- hot glue it to a wooden skewer
- Optional- Add a handful of ribbons and trims to the bottom corner of the pennant for a cutie embellishment.
- FOR 3D EFFECT: Print out two copies. Cut out the bat and “boo” out of one. Glue foam or a small piece of cardboard to the back and then glue that piece directly on top of the full printed pennant bat and “boo”.
If you happen to have a Silhouette, you can:
- save the photo to your images
- Upload it (or drag and drop it) to your Silhouette studio
- Adjust it to the size you want.
- Add a cut line around the pennant.
- Send it to your printer making sure it prints the registration marks
- Add it to your mat, load it to your Silhouette, and send to cut!
