Gold & paper palms heart wreath

Gold & paper palms heart wreath

The best DIY’s all seem to start at the Dollar Tree for me. I’ve seen this wreath base at the dollar tree for a few years now and I finally brought it home with me. I love the shape of it and I didn’t want to cover that, so spray paint to the rescue! I also wanted to add a little boho element that I love so much! Here’s what you’ll need!

  • Dollar Tree Heart Wreath
  • Spray paint in your favorite color, I chose gold.
  • craft paper for the paper palms. I chose pink and a natural color.
  1. Spray paint your wreath base
  2. Create your paper palms
    1. Cut 8.5×11 craft paper into 4 equal parts.
    2. Fold in half and cut into an arch on one side.
    3. Zig zag fold each part.
    4. Cut every other fold to create your palm leaf sections.
    5. Tape the bottom together and fan out to create your fan.
  3. Glue your paper palms to the wreath using hot glue.
  4. I attached one of my tassels from Christmas for an extra boho touch. If you want to create your own tassels you can check out my Not So Spooky Halloween tassels post for a tassel tutorial.
