I’m a few days late but they’re here! I’ve created a few Disney inspired planners to help you stay organized during the crazy holiday season. The holiday craft planner can be used for any project. There’s an area to draw out your vision, get your …
Although I try to make most of my DIY’s and crafts very simple and easy; even simple and easy crafts can quickly turn into a huge headache. I love making pennants for every occasion. I love the simplicity of them, the old school collegiate feel, …
Do you rotate your books with the seasons? We keep a small 3 shelf book area just for special seasonal books and we switch them out when the seasons change. This year I finally added the shelves to the wall and I was so excited to decorate them. I’m not sure what a styled shelf area is so, we’re calling it a shelfie!
Items you’ll need for your shelfie, but really you could add anything:
Seasonal books (we’re going with Halloween right now)
Garlands. Paper, felt, wood. You basically add anything that fits the season.
Decorations- I taped witch hats to the ceiling but how about bats? Spider webs? Spiders? Ghosts?
Seasonal shelfies are fun and cute to look at but they also create excitement for kiddos to read. Also, there really isn’t an age limit! You could make a shelfie for kiddos from baby through college adult kiddos and even for yourself!
If you’d like to recreate my star and bat garland, you can download the PDF below!
I’ve also added some links to some of the books on my shelfie!
It’s time to change your lock screen and/or calendar for the month of September! I have so many cute Disney photos. So, I decided to make some of them into calendars you can download and use as backgrounds. Choose one, or choose em all. They …
We’re so close to September! Have you started planning your content? Having a dedicated calendar to jot down what I want to share has really helped me reel in my ideas. Clearly, putting my thoughts down on paper instead of having them live floating around …
Did you know that the Dollar 25 Tree not only raised their price a quarter, but also sells $3 and $5 items? Well, one of those items is this ADORABLE Tic-tac-toe raw Halloween craft. I had a vision for this game as soon as I saw it.
First step was to paint all of the pieces. I chose to use craft paint but that was taking a VERY long time and way too many layers. After 5 layers on one witch hat, I decided to try spray paint and that worked much better. I used semi-gloss pink for the hats, gloss white for the tray, and flat black for the cauldrons. Once all of the pieces got 2 layers of spray paint and were dry, I sealed them with matte clear coat.
I created the template in my Silhouette. I have a Cameo4. The font I used is called Retrovert and I bought it through the Silhouette store and I used pink and iridescent vinyl for this craft.
One of my favorite Halloween Disney Decor themes. This will be the second Halloween in our new home and although I love this home, I still miss our old home and I miss our Halloween decor in that house. No matter how much I try, …
It’s Monday and like I like to see it…a mini New Year! There’s no motivation quite like the kick in the butt from our parents. How many times did I eye roll at this quote growing up? However, now? I wish I could hear these …
A project born of rage and anger… Am I the drama? HA! But seriously don’t you hate it when you’re running around the house looking for a charger? The charger you always leave in the same spot and your husband SWEARS he hasn’t touched it? Well…I’ve fixed my problem and if you want to fix yours as well in the cutest passive aggressive way. I got you covered.
I created the template and cut it in my Silhouette machine. I’m very into the look of offsetting images right now. So I included that in the template.
Decorating Mickey Bars is one of my favorite ways to create a special treat without having to bake or make a big amount of anything. Let’s be honest, I don’t have anyone to give 11 cupcakes to or to share a big cake with. It’s …
